Her first big success came when she invented a clear plastic jewelry organizer to prevent earrings and necklaces from tangling. In 1996 she founded the consumer products company, For Your Easy Only, and to this date is still the owner. Since 1998 she has been one of QVC’s brightest stars, with her program Clever & Unique Creations by Lori Greiner.
Her best-selling book Invent It, Sell It, Bank It! documents her successes, failures, and strategies for taking products from conception to the market. Lori is highly recognized for overseeing all aspects of her business, from her products’ designs to the legal process of getting them patented.
Lori Greiner started with one idea and turned it into a multi-million dollar international brand. She is now regarded as one of the most prolific inventors of retail products, having created over 350 products, and holds 110 U.S. and international patents. She also believes that what matters most in life is who a person is and what is in their soul. She and her company annually donate a substantial amount of their profits to a variety of charities.
Greiner’s all-American success story is a refreshing scenario in today’s challenging economy. Her inventions address the everyday needs of a wide-range of people, and her affordable pricing makes her products accessible, allowing her to spread her enthusiasm for problem- solving to millions of consumers.
Lori Greiner discusses the thought process people should undertake when developing a product or business. Once you’ve committed yourself to seeing your idea through, there is still the task of developing models, raising funds, and pitching to buyers or investors.
“For me, there are no ‘no’s,’” Lori describes the principles that have led her to multi-million-dollar success. “You have to forge forward. It’s not I can’t this, I can’t that. It’s How can I?”
