  • Vanderpump is a devoted philanthropist whose advocacy through The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, LGBTQ organizations, and global humanitarian efforts has earned widespread recognition, including awards and congressional acknowledgment.
  • Businesswoman, TV personality, author, and philanthropist, Lisa Vanderpump hails from London, England. Lisa and her husband Ken Todd have been entrenched in the restaurant and nightclub industry since they started their partnership over 30 years ago. Their four very successful restaurants and bars in Los Angeles are just a peek into their joint ventures.

In 2009, Lisa Vanderpump became known for the hit Bravo TV series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her unique mix of sparkling glamour and down-to-earth style has appealed to thousands of viewers.  Fans can also catch Lisa on her spinoff show Vanderpump Rules, of which she is an Executive Producer, which centers around her West Hollywood eatery SUR, as well as her Beverly Hills favorite Villa Blanca, and gorgeous culinary endeavor PUMP. Vanderpump Rules’s success has been touted by the New Yorker, The New York Times, Time Magazine and more, and led to its own spinoff, Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, which Lisa also Executive Produced.

In 2018, Lisa opened Tom Tom Restaurant and Bar, with junior partners Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, from the cast of Vanderpump Rules.  The latest addition to the Vanderpump empire is Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, which opened at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in Spring 2019.

Lisa recently took part as one of the 3 judges of Facebook Watch’s newest show World’s Most Amazing  Dog, in 2019. Lisa also competed on the ABC hit show Dancing with the Stars in 2013 and was featured in the Lady Gaga music video for “G.U.Y.” in March 2014. In 2017, Lisa was named Editor-in-Chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine, one of the world’s leading luxury publications, and helmed the publication for over a year. On top of this endeavor, Lisa’s brands include a pet accessories line at VanderpumpPets.com and a soon to be released fine jewelry collection, as well as the recently launched lighting and interior design collection, Vanderpump Alain, with Nick Alain, who co-designed TomTom and Vanderpump Cocktail Garden with Lisa and Ken. Lisa also has her family’s signature Vanderpump Vodka, Vanderpump Sangria, and Vanderpump Wines (Vanderpump Rosé, Vanderpump Chardonnay, Vanderpump Cabernet) in retail and on-premise outlets both domestically and internationally.

Most importantly, Lisa’s philanthropic ventures are extremely close to her heart. In 2016, Lisa and her husband Ken launched The Vanderpump Dog Foundation to help end animal abuse on both an international and domestic level, which opened the doors to its first rescue and adoption center in 2017. Currently, the 501(c)(3) non-profit Foundation has adopted close to 2000 dogs in the U.S. to their new forever homes. In October 2015, Vanderpump organized a peaceful protest march against The Yulin Dog Meat Festival and launched StopYulinForever.org, starting a movement to end the abuse, torture and slaughter of dogs worldwide.  Lisa went on to address Congress about the same issues and produce and release her documentary, The Road to Yulin…and Beyond, which covers the last two years of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s mission trips to China, to expose the torture that occurs during the annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The film gives an in depth look at the horrific and brutal interactions that dogs face in parts of the world that have an unrestrained dog meat trade. The Documentary held its World Premiere at the LA Awareness Festival, where it subsequently won the Audience Award, and is now available on Prime Video. Recently, Lisa was thanked on the congressional floor by Congressman Alcee Hastings (D-FL) for her aid in helping pass House Resolution 401, a formal condemnation of the dog meat trade by the United States.

Lisa and husband Ken have been steadfast advocates for the LGBTQ community for many years. Lisa is a spokesperson for GLAAD and has worked closely with the Desert AIDS Project, The Trevor Project, and the L.A Gay & Lesbian Center helping homeless LGBT youth. Lisa was a recipient of the Ally Leadership Award from Equality California, an LGBT rights organization, in 2015. Lisa has also conducted fundraising for Susan G. Komen in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, and recently led the 30th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles, cutting the starting ribbon for over 25,000 walkers. In addition, in 2015 Lisa was named Monarch of the Krewe of Orpheus Mardi Gras celebration; addressed the United Nations Concert for the EBOLA effort; and was recognized by the State of California Assembly as “Woman of the Year.”

Lisa and Ken have been married for 36 years and have two children. Lisa has a great passion for life and she has tried to instill that in her children; Pandora, 34, and Max, 28. As Lisa said, “I’ve really adored being a mother; but my children have grown now, so I’ve filled my nest with four-legged furry friends. They are the loves of my life.” Lisa and Ken currently reside in Beverly Hills with their 2 miniature ponies, 6 dogs, 7 swans and a variety of other animals.
