Asher Svidensky is a film director and freelance photographer, specializing in multicultural productions and driven by a deep passion for the art of storytelling.
As a director, his films have supported key initiatives for international NGOs such as the United Nations, The Nature Conservancy, Swiss Development Cooperation, and People in Need. Through powerful visual narratives, his work has helped raise funds, shift perceptions, and engage global audiences. Several of his films have received international recognition, premiering at major events including the Sundance Festival (The Eagle Huntress, Sony) and COP26 (Changing Skies, UNICEF).
As a photographer, Asher’s work has been featured in leading publications around the world, including National Geographic, BBC, The Guardian, and GEO. He is currently working on a cross-cultural book titled The Successors, which documents rare and remarkable traditions through the personal stories of their modern-day inheritors.
Beyond filmmaking and photography, Asher has shared his work and creative approach on prestigious stages such as the Oxford Natural History Museum, the UN Headquarters for Asia & the Pacific, PPOC, MGM Macau, and through two TEDx talks on photography and the art of storytelling.
